Sea Turtle Triptych

I love diptychs and triptychs, although I'd never completed one in a large-scale format. This is my first attempt... I still have a few tweaks to go on it. Typical of my process, once I finish I'll set it aside as one might set aside a glass of wine to breathe. When I'm immersed in a project I go through love/hate phases, and at the end I observe for a while to identify any adjustments that need to be made. I once had an art teacher who explained that sometimes, the mark of a great artist is knowing when to quit. I'm nearly there....
