For the Ocean Shores Art Splash Tour, I used my tiki hut vs. my studio to display my recent work --- it provided room to stretch out, better light, more room.
It was a very successful show for me. Unexpectedly, I sold most of my work and ever better, got a chance to meet a bunch of locals including my neighbors. It was exhausting (health issues) and small talk is not my forte, but went really well. Funnily enough, on Sunday morning I got up a little later than expected (I wass wiped out by the previous day) only to discover that the bear (who's been visiting daily) upended the trash across the back yard. Had to scuttle to clean it up when some earlybirds showed up hoping to buy work they'd loved from the day before. Yay!
