Shores Pours

Born under a water sign, one of the big draws for Karen in moving to Ocean Shores was proximity to the sea. She's always had a connection to the Pacific, and her home is a block from the water. She enjoys the simple pleasure of sitting on her deck and listening to the pounding surf. Like most coastal denizens, her life's a beach.

Her acrylic pours are abstract works that combine her favorite marine colors in new, exciting, and unexpected ways. Having been a representational artist most of her life it has been an adjustment to "let go" and let the paints have fun on their own. The results are breathtaking; the process is addictive.
